We are situated in a Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the historic towns of Lyme Regis and Bridport, just minutes drive from the World Heritage listed Jurassic Coast and within easy walking distance of Golden Cap – the highest headland on the South Coast.
Wisteria Cottage’s comfortable en-suite rooms and stunning countryside views will help you to unwind. Our aim is for you to enjoy yourself in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The non-smoking bedrooms overlook the beautiful and un-spoilt Marshwood Vale and the picturesque village of Whitchurch Canonicorum – in medieval times one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the country. The parish church featured in the recent BBC TV Series Secret Britain and the two other Dorset locations in the programme, Golden Cap and Hell Lane Holloway are within walking distance.

There are many things to see and do, but if you don’t feel like driving there are plenty of fantastic walks in all directions.
The tranquility of our location and absence of excessive light pollution make for breathtaking night skies.
There is a public house within walking distance offering a friendly welcome, home cooked food and good beer.
